Intern History
What is the intern program?
In 2010 Pastor John Brooks was introduced to Internships through his friend, and through this partnership 2 interns were chosen. Grandon Purnell served here at Macedonia and Takia Warren served at Cliff Temple Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
In 2011 Grandon Purnell was offered the intern ship again and he served another year.

In 2013 Aaron Hubbard became an intern.

In 2014 Macedonia did a new thing and had 5 interns. Monique Hegwood, Aaron Hubbard, Mario James, Clinton McCullough, and September Richardson. This is also the year when the internship started to be 2 years long.

In 2016 Macedonia reached out to several 18-30 years old Macedonians and Michael Griswold, Chris Martin, Meshia Powell, Patrick Riley, and Eboni Shelby were chosen. This group helped to shape the program into what is is today.

In 2018 there were 20 applicants and out of those Michael Gardenhire Jr, Jacqui Lindsey, Jarrod (Jay) Morgan, and Ashli Mosby.
2020 there was Antwan Powell, LeAndrea Thomas, and Tekoyia Trice serving during the Pandemic.
In 2022 we had Tiffany Brown and Jalen Hill as the last class to complete this amazing program.
